Saturday February 1st at 2:00pm
Presented by Hunger & Thirst Theatre (WET Consortium Company)
A special one-day-only presentation of:
Based on Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
Written by Patricia Lynn
When Jane Utterson discovers that her best friend is conducting a particularly dangerous experiment, she is faced with a difficult choice: should she support Jekyll’s quest to cure humanity of the darkness inside of them? Or should she tell the authorities why corrupt men keep being murdered all across the Upper West Side?
Hunger & Thirst is thrilled to continue to develop this fresh and ferocious feminist take on Robert Louis Stevenson’s sinister novella: a riveting exploration of the elusive 'caged devil' that lurks deep within the souls of women today...
JEKYLL will be performed as a script-in-hand staged reading in order to receive additional audience feedback before moving on to a full production. JEKYLL’s runtime is 75 minutes with no intermission; there will be a brief talkback after the presentation.
Featuring: Natalie Hegg*, Patrick T. Horn, Patricia Lynn*, Lynnsey Ooten*, Elizabeth Anne Rimar*. Directed by Jacob Titus; stage managed by Heather Olmstead*

Singer Songwriter Series at the WET
Monday, February 10 at 7:30pm
presented by the West End Theatre
Join us for our second Singer Songwriter Series concert!
The Singer Songwriter Series at the WET takes place on the second Monday of the month and features performers in the round.
February's performance will feature Peter Himmelman and Taylor Van Cleave.
Peter Himmelman: During his multi-pronged career as a singersongwriter, all-around performer, TV and film composer, internationally published author, and creativity consultant to major universities and Fortune 500 companies, Peter Himmelmannever neglects to reach deep inside the wellsprings of his own creative muse. A first-rate guitarist schooled in the blues, Himmelman first made a serious noise with his early '80s power-pop unit Sussman Lawrence. But it was his soulful 1985 solo debut, "This Father's Day," that announced him as a special kind of artist. Recorded after his father's death, the album led to his first major-label effort, "Gematria," the title of which comes from a system used by mystic rabbis to interpret scripture through assigning numerical values to words and letters.
"Peter Himmelman is one of rock's most wildly imaginative performers." —USA Today
Taylor Van Cleave: a 19 year old from the New York/New Jersey area, has been surrounded by the arts his entire life. His parents, Broadway performers and music mentors, molded his exposure to the performing arts. His love of the guitar and singing emerged while he was in his junior year of high school. It was then that he decided to make his own path in music. His natural talent as a song writer is impressive. His comfort in front of a mic, in a recording studio and on the stage has been described as genuine, natural and pure. His premiere EP “BedHead”, recorded in Miami, FL produced by @BeauVallis (Pharrell, Kelly Rowland, Alessia Cara) introduces Taylor as a solid new artist with songs “It Takes Two and Mother’s Song”. In the spring of 2019 he release “Satisfied”; a fun, bouncy, pop-influenced blend to enhance your sunshine induced good mood. His newest single “Away From Me” digs deep in personal reflection and shines a light on vulnerability. Both of his most recent singles were recorded at Engine Sound, NYC, engineered and produced by @mattanthonyproducer, and can be heard on all music platforms. Taylor is honored to be an AMERICAN IDOL 2019 contestant and impressed judges Katy, Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie at the Denver, CO auditions. He was handed a “Gold Ticket” and was off to Hollywood week where he progressed to the top 70.
